What is an Au Pair?
An Au Pair is someone from overseas who comes to live with you as part of the family; they receive pocket money and in return assist with childcare and provide additional help around the home.

Au Pair is a French word which means “on a par” or “equal to”, which at Au Pair NZ we believe means that they are an equal and an important part of your family. It is our intention to see see our Au Pairs become a valued member of the family. They typically stay for between 6 or 12 months and in many cases they remain in contact with families for many years afterward they return home.
