Au Pair NZ will guide you takes every step along the way to ensure your experience with us is a good one and to ensure that we have a positive outcome for everyone involved.

Our Au Pair’s under go through and detailed selection process which includes:

A Detailed interview face to face in their home country
A thorough medical check
Up to date police check
Reference checks 2 – 3 are taken
Providing copies of their passport, visa and drivers license

Our families can expect:-

A detailed discussion to establish your needs
Comprehensive details of Au Pairs available
The opportunity to speak directly with an Au Pair prior to selection
A “Dear Family” leter from your Au Pair to the their family giving a summary of their experience, personality and interests so the family can get to know them better before meeting them.
An introduction pack for yourselves and your Au Pair
Ongoing support throughout the Au Pair’s placement

Fees

Au Pair NZ Limited does not charge an initial registration free and will only charge a fee once a successful placement has been made.

All fees must be paid 14 days prior to the arrival of your Au Pair.

Au Pair NZ is able to provide au pairs nationwide and offers short term and longer term au pair solutions.

We are also able to offer families in NZ's main centres, the opportunity to claim early childhood education subsidies provided by the government for 3 and 4 year olds against the cost of their au pair.

WINZ Subsidies are also available to qualifying families. (some conditions apply).

Placements 6 Months & Over- These placements offer a longer term solution for your childcare needs and upon accepting the placement of an Au Pair a fee of $900 is payable.

Short Term Placements 3 Months & Under - If you are only looking for an au pair for a short amount of time, maybe to help with a newborn or to get you through a busy period at work then a short term au pair may be your best option. Upon accepting the placement of an Au Pair for a placement of 3 months or less a placement fee of $450 is payable.

Payroll Service - Au Pair NZ charges $5 per week to process your weekly payments to your au pair.
