Our Service
The service offered by Au Pair NZ aims to provide you with a simple and hassle free process of organising your Au Pair ensuring the best possible outcome for all involved.
Step One - The Family Interview
All families are interviewed personally to assess their individual needs and to ensure Au Pair NZ gain detailed information around your childcare needs and are able to build a strong picture of the type of Au Pair that will suit your family and needs.
Step Two - Au Pair Screening
All our Au Pair’s undertake a detailed screening process; this includes a detailed interview by one of our partners in their own country. At the interview we are making sure that they are trustworthy individuals who are suitable for our Au Pair programme as well as checking they have a high standard of English and previous childcare experience. Then we build a profile of the type of family they would like to be working with. In addition to the interview all our Au Pair have been referenced and have undergone medical and police checks before arriving in New Zealand.
Step Three - Au Pair Selection
Once we have established your family’s needs we are then able to select the most suitable Au Pair for you and will provide you with details of the Au Pair and the opportunity to talk to them over the phone or where possible Skype them directly so that you can make a truly informed decision.
Step Four - Organising the Au Pair
At Au Pair NZ we will take care of the organisation required in getting your Au Pair to New Zealand and will ensure they arrive with a valid work permit and ready to join your family. We will provide information on their flights so that you can welcome them at the airport upon their arrival. We assist the Au Pair in the opening of bank accounts and organising their IRD numbers etc.
Step Five - The Settling In Process
Au Pair NZ will provide you with detailed information and support to ensure that your Au Pair settles in quickly with your family and our role doesn’t end upon their arrival we will continue to stay in touch and provide support and guidance where needed.
